Off The Hook’s approach to the competitive stallion market is to find top-flight racehorses with distinctive pedigrees, then provide them with every opportunity to be successful. We hope to build the stallion as an asset for our client, as well as for the breeders who partner with us when breeding their mares. The hallmarks of this approach are:
- Having a full book of mares, while taking care to not to overbreed our stallion.
- Supporting our stallion with our own mares.
- Supporting our stallion in the auction ring.
- Racing the best of the breed.
- Taking advantage of breeder’s awards programs
Developing a successful stallion is a long-term endeavor that requires patience and determination.
In our initial stallion venture, we have successfully rolled out True Direction, winner of the Grade III Fall Highweight. Standing at Keane Stud in Amenia, NY.
